From the Principal's Office
A big "Welcome" from the Home of the Tigers! We hope you will enjoy our web page. As principal of Marietta High School, I am excited about our students and staff members and all of the wonderful opportunities that they will share. The four years that our students have at M.H.S. are a special phase of their lives. They will have the opportunity to take part in an ever-improving academic program and become active in many extra-curricular activities. M.H.S. will be dedicated and organized so that all our students may achieve a high level of personal growth during their time at the high school. Opportunities are extended to our students for the expansion of knowledge and for building worthwhile traits of personality and character. We hope our students take advantage of the opportunities available.
We are proud to report that our test scores continue to be good. Our ACT and SAT scores are above the State and National averages and MHSs results on the state proficiency tests are good. We are also proud to announce that our graduation rate has shown much improvement in the last year.
Enjoy our web page. Please feel free to come visit us or call for any information you may need. I hope you are as proud of us as we are. Marietta High School is a wonderful place for our kids.
