From The Principals Office
Welcome to our web site. At Phillips Elementary School, you will find a professional team of dedicated educators. The faculty works collaboratively to provide appropriate learning experiences for all students at Phillips. Our educational environment is designed to enhance high standards of student achievement, and we are committed to meeting the complete educational needs of our students.
Phillips Elementary School is a learning community for students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. The building was built in 1953 and is the largest elementary school in the Marietta City School district. The Incredible Community Playground was built in 1992 with the effort of over 4,000 community volunteers. The Totem Pole, located near the playground, boasts local student artwork.
We recognize that a strong home-school partnership is the means to success. Our PTO supports our school and the academic programs offered throughout each school year. We invite you to become involved and get to know our dedicated staff, our outstanding programs and our commitment to educational excellence. Together, we can make a positive difference for the children in our community.
