Cheryl Cook has been in service to Marietta City School District for the last 56 years, but has decided to retire after the 23-24 school year. In order to celebrate the amazing career and all of the lives Mrs. Cook has touched during her time with our district, we are hosting a retirement party for her on Sunday, June 9 in the ballroom at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta from 2-5 p.m.
At 3 p.m. there will be a presentation given to Mrs. Cook by Marietta Mayor Josh Schlicher. This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome. Light refreshments and cupcakes will be served at this event.
We hope to see you all on June 9th to celebrate an extraordinary career in public education!
