Building Bridges to Careers Career Fest will be held November 7 from 4-7 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds Junior Fair Building. It's open to all 7th-12th grade students and their families around Washington County. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a jumpstart on planning their career pathway. In addition to career resources there will be free pizza and games as well!

Just a reminder that 8th grade students will need to return their permission slips for the Career Center field trip by Wednesday October 30th. Please make sure that any student that wants to attend the field trip turns in a permission slip prior to the 30th as no slips will be accepted after that date.

There is a mandatory Winter Player/Parent meeting that will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. This will affect all students who are planning to play a winter sport. If you played a fall sport and already attended that meeting, then check with your specific coach to see if it is required to attend this one as well. Thank you!


The Marietta Cheerleaders would like to invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat With The Tigers, Sunday October 20, 2024 from 5:00-6:30, at Marietta High School Davis parking lot. Our Trunk or Treat event is a great way for youth in our community to come, meet, and interact with the athletes and club members at Marietta JH and HS. Our inaugural event in 2023 was a success, with nearly 200 young trunk or treaters! We hope to see you there!


The Halloween Dance for 7-8th grade will be October 25 from 7-9 p.m.. The cost for entry will be $7. Be sure to dress up in your Halloween costumes!


Support the Tigers and an even better cause during the Kick for the Cure night this Saturday, October 5. Participate in the 50/50 to help raise funds to donate to the Strecker Cancer Center. Don't forget to cheer on the Tigers as they take on John Glenn with the JV game starting at 5 and the Varsity beginning at 7 p.m.


It's senior night for Men's Soccer, the Tigers take on Belpre at Jerry Brock Field starting at 6 p.m.

We are excited to announce the upcoming National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT). This is a great opportunity for high-achieving juniors to be considered for scholarships and recognition.
When: October 16th, 8:00 AM Where: TMI Center
Fee: $18
Registration Deadline: September 26th, 3:00 PM
To register, sign up with Ms. Klientop in the Counseling Office. The test is limited to the first 50 registrations.
Please note that the NMSQT is a rigorous exam, so it is important to prepare adequately. You may want to consider taking practice tests or seeking additional resources to help you study.
